This workflow allows creating a highly customisable email that can include form data and file attachments. The email will be sent to the specified recipient/s on selected event - Start, Submit or Exit. You can configure this workflow for each of the events. See Managing Workflows to learn how to add, edit and remove workflows.

Workflow Property NameDescription
Subject

Plain text which can also incorporate values of form fields using ${fieldname} pattern. For example, a form has two Input Fields with Field Name properties defined as 'user.first-name' and 'user.last-name'. We define Subject as

If a user entered 'John' and 'Smith' into these two Input Fields, the email subject will be:

Contact is requested by John Smith

Message Body

Email body.

HTML Format

A checkbox to indicate if Message Body is an HTML code. Tick if it is. Don't tick it if Message Body is a plain text.

Send To

Email addresses of recipients (TO), separated by semicolon (;).

This list can also incorporate values of form fields using ${fieldname} pattern, e.g. if a form has field 'user.email' and the entered value is 'john.singleton@myemail.com.au', the Send To property specified as ${user.email} will result in the email sent to john.singleton@myemail.com.au .

Note: if Send To is blank or referenced field value is blank, an email will not be sent, i.e. the entire workflow will be ignored.

Email addresses of CC recipients, separated by semicolon (;).

This list can also incorporate values of form fields using ${fieldname} pattern.
